These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BookAstra.com website and mobile detailing services offered by Astra Auto Detailing Inc. ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our website, booking services, or interacting with us in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.


1. Our Services

BookAstra.com provides access to mobile auto detailing services that are booked online and delivered at a customer’s preferred location within the Greater Toronto Area. Our services include (but are not limited to):

  • Exterior and interior detailing
  • Paint correction and ceramic coating
  • Eco-friendly rinseless washes
  • Tire and rim treatments
  • Plastic/vinyl rejuvenation
  • Scratch removal and odor neutralization

We use environmentally responsible, biodegradable products and techniques designed to minimize water usage and runoff, including rinseless wash systems and water reclaim mats.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a legally binding agreement to use our website or book services.


3. Bookings & Appointments

All appointments are scheduled through our online booking form or over the phone. By booking a service, you confirm:

  • The vehicle will be present at the location and time specified
  • You have legal authority to authorize work on the vehicle
  • The service location allows for safe and lawful detailing work

If we arrive and are unable to perform the service due to incorrect information, vehicle inaccessibility, or unsafe conditions, a service fee or partial charge may apply.


4. Pricing & Payments

Pricing is displayed during the booking process and may vary based on vehicle size, condition, and location. Additional fees may apply for:

  • Excessive dirt, pet hair, or contamination
  • Odor treatment or mold remediation
  • Oversized or commercial vehicles

All payments are processed securely via Clover, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card information. See Clover’s Privacy Policy for details.


5. Cancellations & Refunds

To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a 25% fee
  • No-shows or same-day cancellations are taken seriously. The first no-show will be noted, but any additional no-show may result in a temporary suspension of booking privileges.
  • If you're not satisfied with the results, you must notify us within 24 hours of service. We may offer a redo, partial or full refund based on the situation. No refunds or corrections will be issued after the 24-hour period.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 7–10 business days, when applicable

If weather or safety conditions prevent us from providing services, we will contact you to reschedule at no additional charge.


6. Environmental Responsibility

We proudly use eco-friendly, non-toxic, and biodegradable cleaning agents. Our detailing methods are designed to:

  • Conserve water (using rinseless wash techniques)
  • Prevent storm drain runoff (with water reclaim mats)
  • Safely clean all vehicle surfaces without harmful residue

However, customers should inform us of any sensitivities, allergies, or preference for specific products prior to service. While we aim for high environmental standards, we are not responsible for reactions due to undisclosed allergies or pre-existing vehicle issues.


7. Customer Responsibilities

By booking a service, you agree to:

  • Provide access to your vehicle at the agreed time
  • Remove personal items and valuables before service begins
  • Notify us of any pre-existing damage, aftermarket parts, or special care needs
  • Secure pets or ensure a safe workspace (if detailing is performed at your home)

We are not liable for lost or damaged personal belongings left inside the vehicle during service.


8. Service Guarantee & Limitations

We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with the results, please contact us within 24 hours and we will do our best to address your concerns.

Please note that:

  • We do not guarantee complete removal of all stains, scratches, or odors
  • Paint correction and ceramic results depend on clear coat condition
  • We do not perform bodywork, repainting, or glass replacement
  • Service results vary based on vehicle condition and environmental factors

9. Intellectual Property

All content on BookAstra.com — including text, images, logos, and service names — is owned by Astra Auto Detail and may not be copied, distributed, or used without written permission.


10. Third-Party Tools & Integrations

We may use third-party platforms to power our services, including but not limited to:

  • Shopify – for website and hosting
  • Clover – for payments
  • Google Services – for analytics, maps, and calendar sync
  • Meta/Facebook – for advertising and communication

By using our services, you also agree to be bound by those platforms' terms of service and privacy policies.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astra Auto Detail shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Losses arising from delays, service interruptions, or force majeure events
  • Damage caused by undisclosed aftermarket parts, sensitive materials, or prior neglect

Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service rendered.


12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Astra Auto Detailing Inc. and its employees, agents, and affiliates from any claim or demand arising from your misuse of our services or breach of these Terms.


13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the website and services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.


14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court located in Ontario.
